Donate Funds
CCFB uses cash contributions to purchase food such as peanut butter and tuna or bulk items like rolled oats and rice at wholesale prices these products are intended to augment or round out the diets of those in need. A donation of $12.00 is enough to provide a balanced diet to a family of four for three to five days in the form of an emergency food box.
Money is also applied to the operation of our Stop Hunger Warehouse: your donation can help us buy fuel or provide funding for the maintenance of our delivery trucks, freezer, cooler and forklifts, without which we would not be able to operate.
Donate Food
- Organize a food drive at your business, church, school, civic group or in your neighborhood.
- Grow an extra row in your home or community garden and/or donate any excess produce.
- Buy an extra bag of various non-perishable food items and drop it off at an agency on the way home.
Food can be dropped off at our Stop Hunger Warehouse (7509 N.E. 47th Ave. in Hazel Dell) or the local agency closest to you. See the list of local agencies for contact information and hours of operation.
Donate Time
There are many and varied opportunities to give time throughout the year:
- Volunteer for the National Letter Carriers food drive in May or the Walk and Knock food drive which is held on the first Saturday in December.
- Help sort and/or distribute food at Stop Hunger Warehouse or one of the network's local agencies.
- Volunteer to drive a route in one of our Fresh Alliance trucks picking up food at area grocery stores. Local Food Agencies
In Kind Donations
Our new site will be significantly larger with more offices, additional staff and a much bigger warehouse. Donations of the following kinds of items would be very helpful:

Gently used office equipment:
- Desk, chairs, file cabinets, etc
- Copies, printers, projectors

- Paper and other necessities

Break room and lavatory supplies:
- Toilet paper and paper towels for example
- Table and chairs

Warehouse equipment and supplies:
- Pallet jacks and pallets
- Corrugated boxes, tape guns, tape
- High cube racking
- Fork trucks
- Corrugated totes
