A little bit of context:
On average, one hundred of you walk through these doors every day. Many of you sort and re-pack food, drive trucks, answer phones, file forms, farm, help out with events, and so much more. It's no secret that each of you play a crucial role in the Food Bank’s mission to alleviate hunger and its root causes. We quite literally could not function without you!
But there’s a problem…
Every day you get to wear the pride of servicing your community through the Clark County Food Bank, but few of you can actually 'wear' your service on your back.
Here’s what we’re doing about it:
We’re launching a crowdfunding campaign to purchase our own screen printing press, so we can produce apparel in-house. Through this campaign and with the help of Ryonet in Vancouver, we hope to raise funds to purchase a press and then use it to give you something to wear.
Do shirts/sweatshirts change the world? No (well they might…). But there is something special about a uniform that symbolizes pride and unity as we all pursue alleviating hunger in our community. So we’ve designed these special, limited-edition set of shirts/sweatshirts that you can wear with pride and support our goal.
