WHERE TO FIND FOOD THIS SUMMER: FOOD BANK FRESH
As summer heats up, the need for fresh, nutritious food remains a top priority for many families. Food Bank Fresh is a summer mobile food pantry designed to provide fresh produce and other food items from June through September. These distributions are accessible to all Washington State residents without the need to provide any form of identification or proof of income.
The primary goal of Food Bank Fresh is to provide a variety of fresh products, including fruits, vegetables, milk, cheese, and bread. The program supplements with pantry staples like beans, canned vegetables, and beverages to ensure families receive balanced and essential food items. In June alone, Food Bank Fresh distributed a total of 13,080 lbs. of food, averaging a total of 28 lbs. of food per family per distribution. Clark County Food Bank is grateful for the support from our amazing community partners and rockstar volunteers who make the Food Bank Fresh program possible. Together, we are working to ensure that everyone has access to nutritious food and the opportunity to thrive.
