At Clark County Food Bank, our network includes food pantries, meal sites, and special service sites, each playing a unique role in addressing hunger and its root causes. As a special service site, The Foundation WA provides critical support to youth and families through prevention, diversion, and re-entry programs.

In Clark County, The Foundation WA is helping young people find new paths forward. Rather than focusing solely on the risks youth may face, the organization works to address the root challenges that can lead to negative outcomes and replace them with opportunities for growth. Diversion programs play an important role, offering alternatives to the juvenile court system and giving participants the chance to build responsibility and access resources that support stability. Central to their efforts is a Teen Center, which provides a safe, welcoming place where young adults can stay engaged and connected to positive influences.

Their commitment also extends to re-entry services for individuals returning to the community after incarceration, as well as support for their families. These services help restore community ties, reduce recidivism, and provide practical resources that make reintegration more successful.

As a partner site, The Foundation WA works with Clark County Food Bank to provide food and resources that complement their programming. Access to healthy food supports both prevention and re-entry efforts, ensuring that youth and families have their basic needs met as they work toward long-term stability.
