Volunteers Do the Heavy Lifting To Make This Season Merry and Bright for Our Community

Over 300 high school students and veterans from around Clark County kicked off the holiday season by volunteering side-by-side during an event called S&VEN on Veterans Day.

The alumni group Cougs in the Community from Washington State University brought family members of all ages to pack a large shipment of potatoes, weighing 30,000 pounds!

Over the holidays, we saw a record number of volunteers sign up, jump in, and help get food to those in need.

We want to say THANK YOU to the thousands of volunteers who bagged food, boxed food, unpacked food, repacked food, dropped off food drive barrels, picked up food drive barrels, drove to grocery stores, sorted Fresh Alliance food, organized food drives, organized funds drives, answered phones, entered data, greeted guests, cleaned the facility, and so much more.

You – the volunteers – care deeply about this community and you make it a better place. Thank you for your selfless service and dedication.
