This past year marked an important milestone for CCFB as Emily Straw completed her first full year as President. It was a year defined by transition, resilience, and a renewed focus on how we show up for neighbors across Clark County.

From the beginning, Emily has strengthened the organization while proactively adapting to evolving community needs. That balance was tested in real time.

For many people, the end of the calendar year is a time for resolutions. It is a moment to reflect on what matters and commit to the months ahead with fresh focus. For us at Clark County Food Bank, that moment comes in July.

I’m honored to return to Clark County Food Bank this spring and once again work alongside such a dedicated team and community. As we remain committed to alleviating hunger and addressing it’s root causes, I’m excited about the impact we can create together.

It is with great honor and excitement that I step into the role of President at Clark County Food Bank during a pivotal and meaningful time for this organization. During the past eight years, I’ve had the pleasure of working alongside you - donors, volunteers, nonprofit partners, and an extraordinary staff and board team. I look forward to co-creating the future of Clark County Food Bank as we pilot and innovate new programs that alleviate hunger and its root causes in our community.
