Clark County Food Bank values your participation and support and is committed to protecting your privacy. CCFB's site is a safe environment for anyone who visits, makes a donation or volunteers.

Clark County Food Bank maintains strict donor information privacy policies. We take great care to ensure that your information is not compromised by unauthorized persons.

Clark County Food Bank does not sell, exchange or rent your personal information to any organization or individual. We will not divulge personal information to any other organization or individual other than that necessary to transact, fulfill and or account for online donations that you have authorized.

Clark County Food Bank does not share your information with telemarketing centers. We do not use telephone marketing to solicit funds. Clark County Food Bank will only use your phone number if we need to verify information or to thank you for your contribution, ask for your opinion or invite you to a special event.

What information do we collect?

When you make a donation, volunteer, schedule a food donation or barrel, CCFB may ask you for your name, address, email address, telephone number, fax number, as well as other relevant information (e.g. hours available to volunteer or a size of T-shirt).

How do we use your information?

Clark County Food Bank uses non-identifying basic information (aggregate data) to analyze site use and to improve the content and design of the site. On occasion, CCFB may share aggregate data with sponsors, partners and other third-party vendors to encourage fundraising.

Clark County Food Bank uses personally identifiable information you provide about yourself: a) to respond to your questions or comments about CCFB services; b) to fulfill requests to volunteer or conduct a food drive; c) to process your donation, verify your credit card and send you a tax-deductible receipt; d) confirm a donation; e) to thank you; f) to send you additional information about CCFB programs, services and needs that we believe will interest you; g) to protect the security or integrity of the site; h) to protect against a threat of safety or destruction of property; and i) to protect against legal liability. We may list donors who contribute $500 or more in our annual report unless you ask that the gift be anonymous.

CCFB may disclose to third parties aggregate statistics about donations and volunteers (e.g., total number of donors, total amount of donations for specific periods, average gift size, and total number of volunteers for specific projects or events). These statistics will not include any personally identifying information.

A third party handles Clark County Food Bank's online credit card verification process. This organization needs your name, address, credit card number and expiration date to process your transaction. Its state-ofthe-art firewalls and encryption technology offer the highest level of security to ensure the confidentiality of your transaction. These vendors will not use your information for any purpose outside of these necessary processes.

Clark County Food Bank will not use personal information in any way other than described in this policy. Clark County Food Bank requires employees, agents and contractors who have access to personal information to protect information consistent with this Privacy Policy.

Google Analytics

Clark County Food Bank uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. Clark County Food Bank's online processing system allows you to make safe donations. CCFB uses state-ofthe-art firewalls and the latest encryption technology to insure that no one can read your information as it travels to our donation system. Online forms are not encrypted.

No liability

The security measures we take may not prevent all loss, misuse or alteration of information on the site. Clark County Food Bank is not responsible for any damages or liabilities relating to such security failures. Unauthorized third parties may access data and communications, including email, when communicated via the Internet. Clark County Food Bank Web site includes links to other Web sites. CCFB cannot ensure the privacy practices of other such sites.
