Partner Spotlight:

Ashby Family Lead & Engagement Services is CCFB’s newest partner agency. Through its work, the organization supports individuals with visible and invisible disabilities, along with their families and caregivers. Ashby’s primary focus is providing

ongoing, relationship-centered services that help people build stability, independence, and connection in their daily lives.

Food plays a contributing role within Ashby’s broader work. Food distribution is integrated alongside existing services, helping reduce barriers and meet household needs through trusted relationships. In partnership with CCFB and The Foundation WA, Ashby hosts a food pantry at the Bridgeview Resource Center and delivers groceries directly to participants’ homes, expanding food support beyond a traditional public pantry setting.

This ensures food complements the care individuals already receive, without requiring them to navigate additional systems or locations.

This partnership reflects how food access can be most effective when it is woven into broader support systems, strengthening care through collaboration and community trust.
